Aisha Bettridge, Psychotherapist

About Me.

My approach is heavily influenced by the humanistic Person-Centred way of being. This means that I believe you are the expert of your own situation and I will seek to encourage and empower you to access the inner wisdom that I know you possess. If you feel that you would find it helpful, I can incorporate a blend of psycho-education and practical tools tailored specifically to you that can aid and promote self-awareness and resilience.

My past experience as a Social Worker has given me in-depth knowledge on how childhood experiences impact on the way we navigate adult life. With this insight we will work together creatively to support your inner child and identify your wants and needs.

I am a trauma informed and inclusive therapist working with individuals over the age of 18. I will support you to set your own pace. This means that you will not be pressured to discuss anything that you are not ready to. Together we will approach every thought and feeling that arises with curiosity and compassion. I will accept you for who you are, at whatever place you find yourself in life.
